Genenal Information for Tourists Visa:

Visitors from most countries are issued 2 to 4 week entry permits on arrival and upon presentation of a passport and a ticket for the return or onward journey. Entry permits connot be extended while you are in Thailand. It is advisable to check with a Thai embassy or consulate in your country before departure. If you are planning a longer stay. Apply for either a 60 day tourist visa or 30 day transit visa from Thai embassies and consulates overseas. These can be extended at the immigration office in Bangkok for a nominal fee.

Transit and Transfer Passengers:

Passengers will have to go to the airside area after they arrive at the 2nd floor of the concourse building from the aircraft in order to proceed with the transfer process before continuing to 3rd and 4th floor to complete departure procedures. In the case of transit passengers. they will have to go through the airside area to the departures service area in order to complete the departure procedures.

Currency:

100 satang in 1 baht (Bt=baht)Note are in denominations of Bt.1000 (gray),Bt.500(purple),Bt.100(red),Bt 50(blue) Bt.20(green),There are 10,5 and 1 baht coin, and 50 and 25 satang.
